Bolognaise- Grating vegetables is a great way to incorporate more Vegetables!!
200g
lean beef mince
1
t olive oil
2
medium onions, finely chopped
2
cloves garlic finely chopped
2
x 420g tin chopped tomato
2
T tomato paste
4
sticks celery, finely chopped
2
medium carrots, finely chopped
1
t dried oregano
1
t dried basil
½
t pepper
200g
wholemeal pasta
- Heat
oil in large pan
- Fry
onions and garlic until soft
- Add
mince and fry until brown
- Drain
all but 1 T fat into a heatproof bowl
- Add carrot
and celery and fry for a further 5 mins
- Add remaining
ingredients (except pasta) and simmer for 25mins
- Whilst simmering, bring water to boil and cook
pasta
- Drain
pasta and serve with 100g grated low fat matured cheese
